Carmen participated in Girls on the Run as a young girl in Larose, Louisiana and now has returned to give back as a Girls on the Run Coach. "GOTR has left a lasting impact on my character and has filled me with lasting memories."

St. Joseph's Academy senior Michelle Daigle Gatorade Louisiana Cross Country Player of the Year chose Girls on the Run South Louisiana to receive the $1,000 grant award to help accomplish our mission of inspiring girls to lead joyful, healthy, confident lives through our fun, evidence-based curriculum.

While Marci trained for the Chicago Marathon as a National SoleMate, she raised funds and awareness to support girls in our local community. Marci raised over $3,200 for Girls on the Run South Louisiana, earning her an entry to the inaguaral Every Woman's Marathon.

How Kappa Delta Sorority at LSU is building confidence and inspiring action through painting inspirational bandanas for Girls on the Run participants. A 15-year tradition in the making! 

Jeff Soileau became involved with Girls on the Run South Louisiana (then Greater Baton Rouge) as a founding Board of Directors member. Fifteen years later, Jeff remains an avid supporter of Girls on the Run and continues to positively impact the health of community members through his work as a Population Health Strategic Advisor with Louisiana Blue.
