Meet our Girls on the Run SOLA Fall Interns!

fall interns

Please help us welcome our fall 2023 GOTR South Louisiana interns! Sasha, Kristal, and Raleigh are all serving as coach mentors along with supporting our staff with office, program, and 5K efforts. We are thrilled they are joining our team this semester!

Sasha Barley, University of Louisiana at Lafayette - "I've chosen to be with GOTR this semester because I was drawn to the implementation of physical exercise with building up oneself emotionally and mentally. I also enjoy mentoring and passing on previously attained knowledge and experience. I hope to make great connections with all the girls and coaches!"

Kristal Blatcher, University of Louisiana at Lafayette - "I love playing tennis and my favorite food is jambalaya. When I was a little girl, GOTR taught me life skills that improved my health and self-confidence. GOTR improved my well-being and I would like to give back and help other girls do the same thing."

Raleigh Quinlan, Louisiana State University - "I had learned about Girls on the Run in one of my classes at LSU and then the girl I was babysitting was talking about how much she loves doing it. I started looking more into the organization and I love everything Girls on the Run stands for, so I decided to reach out and see how I could be involved. I am so excited to be a part of something that is so much bigger than anything I've ever done and get to learn new things along the way!"
